It had big buttons and you can program the pictures for speed dial, those are the best features. Unless you buy a 9V battery, the flasher is rather lousy. It was no louder than the previous phone, maybe even lower. Was really disappointed that the volume didn't go higher on the phone, or ringer.

The large buttons are a welcome feature. We like that there is a button that lights up when it rings - good for folks who are a little hard of hearing. We haven't used the speed dial buttons yet but they were easy enough to program.
And we like that the receiver has the traditional shape so that it sort of cups around your ear, rather than the flat style like cell phones.
